What is Employers’ Liability Insurance ?

This insurance is compulsory for any company and insures the physical and or mental health of an employee if there are injured during their employment.

This is a “losses occurring” policy so any claim will revert to the policy that was in place at the time of the loss originally occurred.

The legal minimum limit of £5,000,000 per cooccurrence but often a limit of £10,000,000 is offered by insurers.

Due to its relatively cheap cost insurers often offer this compulsory insurance in conjunction with an office policy.
